Default FS: Montblanc 149, 14c nib, solid ebonite feed

SOLD: Montblanc 149 from 1969-72 in fantastic condition (see photos). Very smooth and expressive writer.

    • Big No. 9 14c gold tri-color EF flex nib just back from Brad Torelli for a plating refresh.
    • Solid ebonite feed.
    • Smooth piston operation; freshly lubed piston mechanism.
    • "Germany" on clip.
    • Black resin threads.

Balance is great with these pens. This is the era of the great nibs, and this one writes beautifully. A wet ink will make it more F, and the flex will take it to a broad B (see photos). No dings, dents or scratches. Only micros that can hardly be seen with a wipe of a microfiber cloth that looks like new. Needs nothing but a big fill from your bottle of ink.

$650 The first PM that reads "I'll take the MB149" with your email address and shipping address holds it pending prompt payment of Square invoice emailed to you. Questions welcome but they do not hold the pen.

Bump, because after all these months, this 149 is available once more. The EF flex nib only just came back from Brad Torelli for a refresh of the tricolor plating. Good things like that take a while.

Photos to show the tri-color nib plating performed by Mr. Torelli, and to show the iridium is in immaculate condition. These were taken with an iPhone8.
