    The fact that they have some old nibs is what prompted the conversation. There’s no intent to do anything with them other than salvage the gold. I might look through them if I get a chance and see if any are serviceable.

    The idea is to make a new nib that has flex and fits a 6mm feed assembly. It’s just for fun. Depending on how much trouble it is, and labor involved, there was discussion on whether or not she should make a couple for me or more to sell.

    Very familiar, but thanks for the link. I’ve got a few spare Bock #5s and #6s, and one or two spare Jowo 6s. The Bock in particular would be the template.

    I think, if you manage it, it would be great. Ignore the Eeyores. If you are just thinking about it and it's not a big investment , give it a go. You sound like you know what you're doing. I think it's a great creative idea. Good luck and thanks for letting us know.
