Question Name for yellow MB ink

I have this ~30ml bottle of ink that I used once for mixing a batch of faux MBRG years ago. I needed a touch of yellow just now, so I filled a never-used Esterbrook J & 9555 nib. I no longer have the MB box, and there is no label on the bottle other than the bottom proclaiming it is yellow ink made in Austria on June 21st (in the year 1617 - I wonder if it ages well).

What was Montblanc's retail name for this ink in English?

    TIA

I think the one you have is called Montblanc Golden Yellow ink.

This is the one that was recalled then reissued. The fact that yours hasn't gone off yet suggests it's the reissued version.

Okay. "Golden" bumped the price up 400%.

I thought the Montblanc part alone would have done that.

Yeah, true enough. But I had to buy it because it was part of the faux MBRG recipe.

You may be confusing "golden" with "precious".

Even though I have Mb Golden Yellow ink, when I make my recipe for "faux Racing Green" I use Diamine Sunshine Yellow as it's the yellow that's always around on my shelf as my "go to" yellow ink.
