    Default See-thru 149s

Some of you may recall my bottle of Montblanc demonstrator ink poking fun at demonstrator pens. Well, a friend who manages to gather the best-writing MB nibs, and who loves Montblanc, 149s and demonstrators, shared the following photo with me. Get a load of this fantastic array!

When I met him, Fred's friend generously allowed me to photograph those same 149 demos. Remarkable! Sorry for the sideways photos. If someone knows how to set them right, please do. Thank you.

Mine was just a regular 1990~1991 Montblanc 149 in Black with yellow gold trim. :P

It's astonishing how the colours have merged on these pens (mainly in the 2nd photo), despite them being colourless. They remind me of renaissance/late medieval paintings. Thanks for the photo.

And nice work KBeezie - is that IR photography?
