Default Help identify pen and value - Florentino Medici

    Hi all,

I have had this pen in my possession for many years since my uncle passed and finally decided to have a look at it and see what its story is. I havent been able to find anything online so far so need some geeks/experts to help me out.

I can't find any reference to this particular pen but Jinhao is a manufacturer of low-cost Chinese pens.

    It's a Jinhao 1200.

Seems to be a bit of a thing for putting cheap Chinese pens in Italianesque branded boxes. My brother triumphantly brought back a pen for me from Venice last year. Very smart box with outer sleeve branded Renzetti 1909, lots of little card pieces within also so branded, one even declaring "This product is handcrafted in Italy". Nestling on the plush interior within? A Hero 7038. With bits already flaked off the clip, what's more. Dread to think how much he was over-charged for it.
