Marsilius (August 2nd, 2020)
A Cypress?
Marsilius (August 2nd, 2020)
15. No. That is a general name of some trees in the Cupressaceae family. It's not the genus nor the species of the tree I'm thinking of.

Is it a Sequoiadendron also known as Redwood or Mammoth tree? 🌲
16. Yes. Sequoiadendron is the right genus.

Is it a particular individual sequoia tree? or just a Sequoia tree?
17. I was thinking of a particular one but I'm not 100% certain it's still there so I will give it to the regular name of the tree. Only one more word is needed.

Redwood Sequoia? Sequoia sempervirens?
Fortibus es in ero
18. That's commonly called the Coast Redwood.
I'm thinking of the other one. North of where you live?
Think big
Edit:
Actually after looking at Wiki it says "sempervirens" or Coast Redwood is the only living species. So Marsillus is correct.
I was thinking of Giant Sequoia or Sequoia giganteum but maybe there is no longer a separate species. I originally thought of "Grizzly Giant" in Yosemite NP but it may no longer be there.
Over to you Marsillus
