    15. No. That is a general name of some trees in the Cupressaceae family. It's not the genus nor the species of the tree I'm thinking of.

    18. That's commonly called the Coast Redwood.
    I'm thinking of the other one. North of where you live?

    Edit:

    Actually after looking at Wiki it says "sempervirens" or Coast Redwood is the only living species. So Marsillus is correct.

    I was thinking of Giant Sequoia or Sequoia giganteum but maybe there is no longer a separate species. I originally thought of "Grizzly Giant" in Yosemite NP but it may no longer be there.
