No, sorry, but maybe I’m too much of an IT guy and I thought the only valid answer should be yes or no.

Boolean algebra:
Is it A or B or C?
If at least one of the options is true then the result is true (yes).

So to clarify it the answer to the question: „Animal or Vegetable or Mineral?“

Is „Yes it is at least one of the given options“

It's just a little game and from what I've seen in the rest of the thread, the usual first question is:

Is it animal, vegetable or mineral The person thinking usually responds to that by saying which one it is. I did when you came along and asked.

However, you said you wouldn't answer that question:

Also, there are occasions when you can't just say yes or no. You can add other comments too. Being a little flexible. Like I was when you guessed the genus of the tree I was thinking of and I needed the species as well.

I thought you meant with „ Did we decide whether it was animal or vegetable or mineral yet?“ the rest of the team, and my answer was no this is not clarified yet.
