    Yes! That's the answer. Also trumpet. Richard Binder's glossipedia provides:

    Trumpet (also bowl, sheath, or tulip) The cup- or bell-shaped socket portion of a desk-set base, into which the pen is inserted. The trumpet is frequently swivel-mounted.
