    Default Parker 51 & V-E Day

This was my mother-in-law's Parker 51, a cedar blue and sterling vac-fill. It has the date code, 2nd quarter 1945, when fascism in Europe was defeated. It was given to her by her first serious boyfriend as a high school graduation gift in June 1945. She used it in college and for many years at work until giving it to me about 20 years ago. Naturally, it is my most sentimental 51. It functioned perfectly with all original parts until it required work about 2 years ago. Expertly restored by my old friend, Martin Ferguson at martinspens51.com

I love my cedar blue 51s. But neither of mine have this kind of awesome story to go with them!
