Question Any other pens fit apparatus on TWSBI Diamond 50 bottle?

I have a couple of TWSBI 580's plus some other pens.

Was interested in getting one more (yes, I know) pen that was a piston filler and was wondering if anyone knew of any (not another TWSBI, I need some more variety) where the section would unscrew so that you could use the snorkel/apparatus from the TWSBI bottle for filling like with the 580's?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any other brands of piston filling pens that have removable sections for filling from a TWSBI ink bottle but many converters can fill from them. I have 5 TWSBI glass ink bottles and no TWSBI pens at all.

Eh? Most people seem to rave about them. I don't have one so I have no idea.

It probably depends if its a cheap one or a good one I've had two twsbi vac700r and they're excellent. I have a twsbi go and it's pretty ropey (springy fun to fill but it leaks, plastic fantastic feeling too). I've had other cheaper fp and they've been much better quality and didn't leak.

I was almost tempted with the latest rose gold version of the 580...... until I saw the price.

They are cheap for a piston filler. The stub nibs are ok for people who want to try a stub.

There are too many reports of the Eco section cracking, widespread manufacturing defects should not happen IMHO.

There are also many reports of blobs of ink appearing without any warning. I haven't seen a good explanation as to why but it could be that users are removing the friction fit nib and feed when it is not essential. I have seen people argue that the nib and feed is designed to be removed which is odd logic, I think it is more correct to say that the nib and feed can be removed. If Twsbi had designed a pen that the owner might remove the nib quite often then they should have given the nib units a threaded section.

My wife has the classic one, she loves it. I don't. I get confused with clockwise/counterclockwise, and I dismantled the piston by mistake. It took me a lot of time, mostly frustration and cursing to finally to make it work again, thanks to Brian Goulet's video.
I have the Go with a stub nib. No problem but it's clunky, and the stub nib is scratchy...
Personally I like fountain pens that you can dismantled the nib section, as I often use bulletproof inks....
