Default Ink to go with Namiki Vermillion Urushi

Suppose you were getting your grail pen, the Namiki Emperor (aka no. 50 laquered) Vermillion urushi. And suppose that you would like to fill it with an ink that would match it well—not necessarily an exact match of color, but definitely a match in tone. And suppose that you like shading inks.

    What would you do?

Well, I have the #20, and it is permanently inked with iroshizuku asa-gao. This is a similar regal tone of color and the bright blue complements the majestic red.

Platinum Classic Cassis Black or maybe Diamine Ancient Copper.

I know on his review of the pen, Figboot on Pens uses Franklin-Christoph Urushi Red. That seems to be a nice fit, anyway.
Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji is a nice reddish pink that might go with it. Congratulations on the Namiki Emperor by the way!
