This is the Waterman model that brought me in to the fountain pen world. Many moons ago, it was the 80's, I had a friend and co-worker that had studied in Spain who regularly used a LeMan 100 to write with. I would stare in fascination at the pen and sought to buy one but was surprised when I found out the price. Undaunted by this experience I bought a cheaper model (a Laureat) and began my FP journey. My friend died a few years back and I often wondered what happened to his pen.

All this to say that this is a beautiful model, the top of the line Waterman pen of its era. I hope it goes to a good home.

Thank you my friend. To me these nibs are some of the best made in last 40-50 years. If not the best.
