Today was a good pen day!
Two pens arrived from FedEx today.
First, my repaired Montblanc Le Petit Prince Classique, whose nib I damaged almost immediately after opening it.
Followed a couple hours later by my new Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Art Deco Sand pen.
The Montblanc was my first real fountain pen (the real first being an Amazon Basics pen to try things out) that my wife gave me as an anniversary present. Learning about it, I discovered the whole fountain pen world slowly, and as stated, promptly dropped it directly on its nib, separating the tines. The repair took more than a month, so getting antsy, I found my way to a Leonardo Momento Zero Blue Hawaii and now the Art Deco. Delightful pens.
So excited to have these both in my hands today, I had to make a post.

Wow that Leonardo is especially gorgeous. Has some design cues that remind me of Wahl Eversharp.

Beautiful choices!
The acrylics from Leonardo are driving me crazy, especially the blue tones. They're just astounding. I've been considering a simple steel nib model from them all year this year. You're making me accelerate when that's going to happen!

Re: Today was a good pen day!
Hi Paul
I have a Momento Zero Blue Hawaii with a fine steel nib. It's really a joy as well. The Leonardo's are beautiful, well-writing pens. I'm really like this Grande, though.
