And I finished it
It is not visible on pictures but I kept most of the translucency of the pen. Total 8 layers of urushi + 6 uwazuri with total thickness of all layer est 0,1-0,15mm

Wow, very nicely done! I love my 3776's in F and SF, but they're a bit boring in plain ol' black and rhodium.
What a beautiful job! I happened to have my own 3776 Bourgogne here while I was watching and this inspired me to try and see how the cap was constructed... haven't broken it yet though. Are you doing these just for your own pleasure or are you selling them as well?
