The new Art Sport. The clip is described as nostalgic.
At least you can get the Amber color again, and it's not $300.

It's basically a regular plastic Sport with a clip at double the price.
More than the aluminum version. Geeeez

The Art versions go for $100 or so. Usually that's an ok price for the material (although they're not as nice as they used to be). These are €87
The clip is described as "nostalgic", which is weird since none of the past models had clips (112/11/12/V12/V16)
There are 4 colors this go-round.

They sent me an image showing four of them. The colours are Mineral White, Pebble Blue, Hickory Brown and Terrazzo

The brown (naming aside) is identical to the earlier amber (which I sold in a moment of lunacy).
I really wish it didn't have the clip.
I can see a permanent clip being handy and suspect I'll get the blue and brown ones.

I have one of the black ones that came with a 14ct gold nib but sadly the nib is F so I don't use it. The permanent clip is really lovely IMHO

The new "colours" of the acrylic are nice. The charging system I think is the same as the regular sport. The clip is a good addition in my opinion.
These are much nicer than the previous generation of Art Sports. I started collecting the original two series, and have most of them (annoyingly I didn't get Rosit and Amecitrin), but I found the more recent ones a bit meh.
The problem is just the price. I think Kaweco makes lovely pens - and the Ebonite is tempting even though the price is so high, just such a nicely made pen in such a lovely material. But then I think I can get a Pelikan m600 for that...
The clip looks like the one you find on the old Kaweco Dia piston filler.
The restorer in me immediately wonder if the size of the clip would be perfect for a Dia 90a I have ... which is missing its clip
I have being eyeing the Kaweco Original as it seems like a sport xl with integrated clip.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Kaweco branches out slowly while retaining the characteristics that have made them successful. I like that in a company. And I like the new pen line. However, they need to be careful not to price themselves into a box canyon they can't fly out of. (Sorry my aviator's passion comes out on occasion.)
We shall see where it all goes.
