Two Sheaffer’s White Dots

SOLD Sheaffer’s mid-1930s 350 Balance in grey pearl. Two-toned gold Lifetime nib, with center portion of lower text polished smooth (number and “Sheaffer’s” completely legible). Slim pen with fine, hard nib, feed intact. Band and clip have some plating loss. Barrel engraving good. New sac a couple of years ago. $55 shipped First Class in US. PayPal only, please.

2. Sheaffer’s Slender Oversized (?) Balance w/ Lifetime nib. This pen is in excellent condition for its age, with only a few marks (incl. a couple of pin-head-sized chips) on the barrel. The barrel is slim (about .44” / 11mm), but closed length is a full 5 5/8” / 143mm. According to Binder’s site, slim standard Balances were a bit shorter, but the cap is on snug and I’ve measured it twice. Barrel engravings are clear but there is no price number present. Black and Pearl, with most of the pearl ambered. Plating on band and clip is good. Engraving on Lifetime nib is all deep and clear. Nib writes smoothly and is pretty firm. No broken fins on feed.
