I *might* like the color, but not the glitter. The color was chosen by voters in the FP world.

Just my luck :/ the color happens to be my least favorite out of the four original options.

looks like i have another one to add to the ever growing list...

well, there are two lists actually, the inks I want
and the inks i think my wife would like.

this is going on the second list.

Frankly I'm disappointed. If it's not got gold, silver, and copper glitter, plus copious sheen, permanence in the face of nuclear winter, lifetime guarantee against Covid-19, and contains at least 750% Unicorn barf, it's hardly worth bothering with.

I've yet to try a shimmer ink. Is it a lot more of a hassle to use? Like clogging the pen or the shimmery bits settling in the bottle or pen even. Some of them do look like fun.

Thanks for this. It’s an easy “Nope” for me!

I use a cheap Shaffer calligraphy pen or a Lamy Joy with a wide nib to show off the ink and roll it frequently between my palms to keep the glitter suspended as I write. Clean after using and I don’t put it in nicer pens ever.

I also tend to use shimmer inks in less expensive pens, or in pens where it's easy to remove the nib and feed for cleaning. Just in case I need to. I don't necessarily clean immediately after using as during the Christmas period I leave the ink in a pen for the duration while I might write out cards. I also use several of my shimmer inks without shaking the bottles first. In particular J.Herbin Rouge Hematite and Emeraude de Chivor as I like those colours without the shimmer and use them in Waterman Hemisphere and Phileas pens where removing nibs and feeds isn't necessarily an easy thing to do.

I'm not particularly interested with this upcoming ink but there are several I wouldn't mind trying. Using a cheaper pen with a broad nib sounds like a solid tip. Thanks
