    Default The Sheaffer Bug

    ... not the addictive, but the creeping kind.

    Spotted this bug on my wife's bitter melon (Momordica charantia) vines:



    Looks like this bug is either a top-tier bug or it's guaranteed for life.

    I think if it can write, it'd be writing with a Sheaffer.

    (If any entomologist here can identify the name of this bug, do tell, my wife and I will appreciate that).

    I believe this is the male Glassy Winged Sharpshooter (Homalodisca vitripennis). What a great name for a bug.
