Today I've been writing with MI#29. An unusual brown ink. Unusual because on my 95gsm coated paper it changed colour from a reddish brown to a greenish brown after I had finished writing.
I didn't see the same effect on the Rhodia DotPad. On there it stayed more reddish brown.
It wrote as a wet ink but was not well lubricated and was quick to dry on Rhodia DotPad. It also made my Lamy Al-Star "sing" as I wrote across the Rhodia paper. Quite disconcerting and off putting. I didn't like it.
It also wrote wet on the 95gsm British notebook paper, but it still did not not feel lubricated. It almost seemed to drag across the paper somehow and felt hard work to write with. Odd.
I'm pleased I tried it but I don't think it's an ink bottle I would buy. A chameleon ink.
