I'm not quite new, but I don't think I've got 10 posts yet. I'm in my seventies and I've used fountain pens on and off since I was a kid. Other than that, I'm a retired flute player and have been involved in all aspects of the arts all my life. In the last decade I've done a lot of writing, but pretty much all for web publication, so no hard copy. I do have a love affair with paper though and if one is not going to make prints, then I think the best way to apply ink is with a pen. So that's what I've been committed to doing lately.
So, the title. I had bought some cheap Chinese pens a few years back, and along with that a couple of bottles of Noodlers ink. I didn't end up doing anything at the time, but now, the ink came to the fore again. I like Noodlers for a bunch of reasons which I won't get into here. Suffice to say, I do my research, which is what brought me here. Believe it or not, I actually read through the entire 16 pages of comments in the "Prejudice Against Noodler's Ink" thread! There were a lot of stupid comments, and a lot of well considered ones. I thought, that's a nice reasonable balance. So I joined.
