Although she passed away years ago, I've still got a lot of my mother's stuff. One of the dearest things is her fountain pen which she got in AArhus Denmark before the war. I would estimate around '38 or '39.
Since I'm so familiar with this from an early age, this represents the quintessential fountain pen. I've done a bit of research and see that the "20" stamped on the filler cap is the model number. Also, there are type 1, 2, and 3. The type 1 and 2 were made in Germany, with a possibility that some model 2s were assembled and/or made in Denmark. This looks to me like a model 3, with the smaller cap crown, which were all made in Denmark. There is no DRP patent imprint on the barrel, unless that's what should go in the circle between "SIM" and "PLO". It's quite worn form use.
Details
On the barrel: SIM and PLO with a circle in between.

MONTBLANC MASTERPIECE
Do we have any Montblanc experts here, or anybody with relevant information? I'd like to confirm the type. Am I correct in saying this particular model is made in Denmark?
Also, I would like to find a reputable restorer, preferably in Canada, but not essential, and not the kind of restorer that makes things look new - I'd like this treated as an antique.
