Default WTB - Parker 75 Nib Unit, 14k, U.S.A., Broad

Unfortunately my old Parker gold 75 (USA) lost one of its osmium tips. So, the only fix is to get a whole new nib unit. If anybody has one for sale at a reasonable price I'd be most grateful.

The original was a broad, but I'd entertain the possibility of something wider, or possibly a medium if it's a really good price. Definitely not a fine. I've seen sites with lots of Parker nibs for sale, but I thought I'd ask the forum members first.

You would have to be more specific as Parker 75 nibs had two different types of feeds:

Here is one of the places you can get a variety of 75 nibs:

You could also consider Battersea Pen Home.

I bought a nib from Simon several years ago and had a very pleasant and educational interaction.

Thanks @carlos.q. I thought I was specific enough, at least according to the web site you give. It's a 14K USA which is what fits into the triangular grip model, and the 18K does not. Is there some other description that's needed? That other site was my choice for buying. It looks like a good one and the prices are reasonable. If nobody here has anything, then I'll go there. They list "Parker 75 Nib Unit, 14k, U.S.A., Broad, Item #P951" for US$65ea.

Thanks @catbert. That looks like a good site, but I fear postage from across the pond will be more, and their prices are near double the US price. We'll see.

To reiterate my needs. I'm looking for a nib for a Parker 75 which has the triangular grip. I believe those are referred to as 14K USA. I'd prefer broad.

    A thin-feed nib, whether 14K US-made or 18K French-made, should fit the triangular grip model 75.

Got it. The word for those is "thin-feed". So that's my word for the day.

Thanks. Yep, easy to find. He's the one I quoted earlier for US$65.

My nib came in the mail today. Thanks go @guyy, my gold Parker 75 is now writing again after more than 45 years!

Yes, I was in my 20s when the nib broke, so it feels really good to have an old friend back. My mother gave me this pen because she thought that a young man should have a gold pen.

    Thank you, Ole.

I also did a number on the pens my mother got me. There were several, and none were even as intact as your 75.
