Paper and humidity
It is stinkin' hot and humid right now in south-central Pennsylvania USA, as I wrote a letter on a Rhodia with my '29 long-barrel black & pearl Sheaffer oversize Balance EF flex, filled with Kaweco Caramel brown. The feathering was pretty bad, so I switched to G. Lalo A5 and the problem was resolved.
After decades of using fountain pens, bottled inks and various stationaries, I really should know the answer to my question, but I'll toss it out to the forum anyway.
- Does increased humidity increase the likelihood or severity of feathering?
