    Lowell Observatory posted today this copy of Percival Lowell's notes about his first look through the 24-inch Clark refracting telescope at the planet Mars in 1826. Mr. Lowell build the scope Alvin Clark for the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.
