I read a classified somewhere else where the person chose to use "final reduction" as a means to sell their offering. It just struck me as very funny. It came across and "hey this is it!! You've got one more chance. I'll not reduce it any further."

This isn't a Pens in General topic, but that common sales technique isn't exclusive to cars or shoes or mattresses. Consumers/targets are prodded and pushed and tempted by whatever means the seller/salesman can muster, including the suggestion that his so-called "final reduction" is just too good to pass up. If you really want the widget he is offering, make your lower counter-offer and let us know what happened.
It was just a funny pen ad that I thought was good to share.
We *had* a surfing shop in the small little harbor town where I live that had a "Going out of Business" banner across the top. Strictly for the visiting tourists because they were 'out of business' for the past 8 years. They really did finally shut down in June 2020 due to Covid-19.
