Hello fellow tinkerers,

Does anyone have much experience with this or have any resources/advice?

I have an ebonite feed into which I'd like to set an old waterman ideal #2 nib. Is ebonite heat setting friendly? The nib fits well enough, the only problem is that the curvature of the nib and feed don't line up, so the nib doesn't lay flat, rendering it useless.

I may end up sending it to a nib expert along with some other pens in need of tuning and grinding, but it seems like a good skill to have for my own little projects.

Any advice appreciated!
