Default Can this pen be refilled?

Hi to this very interesting world that I found myself in. I have a question for you!

I recently recieved this pen from my grandfather, then I searched what it is and I am thinking it is Waterman Supermaster, but I am not sure yet. Am I right on this guess? What I am wondering is that I could not find a way to refill this pen, so is it maybe like one-use? Can this be refilled?

I hope I can attach the photos right, if there is a problem please let me know. Thank you!

IIRC it uses the older Waterman Slim cartridge and I'm not sure they are still available.

    Hi, thanks for replying.
My problem was that I could not really find a way to open it. Is it possible?

Yup. The section unscrews. If it doesn't want to budge there are several options.

Try these pretty much in this order.

Soak nib and section in warm not hot water above the section/body interface. Let it sit over night.

If that doesn't work put the pen after drying it off in the freezer for about 30 minutes then try again.

And if all else fails try using a hair dryer to gently heat the metal part at the joint and try to unscrew it.

Yes it looks exactly like a Waterman Graduate pen apart from the nib. It should unscrew where the black plastic starts in the centre. I think an international cartridge might fit in there.

You might find an empty cartridge in there after you get it opened up. If so, you could refill it from an ink bottle using a syringe. Good luck.

Worse case scenario, if all else fails, you could use it as a dip pen from a bottle of ink.

Take care when immersing the grip section. It has a laminated construction which can separate over time. The whitening visible at the end of the grip section near the nib in your photos is a sign of this.
