Re: Good old COVID-19 postal services...
On the other hand, every USPS delivery I've received or sent has arrived a day ahead of schedule for months. Just last week I sent a pen from AZ to NY. Shipped Tuesday arrived Thursday. It was supposed to arrive Friday. I was quite surprised.

I dunno, the mail has been terrible in my corner of New York lately. Lots of missorting at the sorting center.

Mail is actually very good within the US. That said, a pen from Scotland stayed in Chicago for a month.

Meanwhile, mail between Pennsylvania and England or Germany is back down to 4-5 days, while mail from Minnesota takes three weeks. It's changing constantly.
Oh! Yesterday, California mail arrived in four days while Minnesota was down to eleven days.

Re: Good old COVID-19 postal services...
Ugh, the postal service struggles are real! It's like a never-ending loop sometimes. However, I'm trying to save my mental health and act calmly in any situation. If you do a little research (like at restore-mentalhealth.com), you can see that mental health is the actual value nowadays. Anyway, I hope the package gets its act together soon and finds its way to the right place. Hang in there!
