That got me curious enough to google Michael Fish and find what his claim to infamy was.
It's Britain and it's the weather - it's important! Also that wiki entry is not terribly accurate (shock) and technically it was actually Bill Giles' fault as he was the duty forecaster and failed to predict the track the front took correctly. Fish was stitched up like a kipper.

Anyway, a disturbingly accurate portrayal of Mr Fish, Suzy. I wonder if you were (un)consciously influenced by the prompts for the 8th and the 17th.

Thank you Will. I searched for and found an online tutorial on "How to draw smoke" I'm sure it should not have taken me all afternoon, but perseverance was the key LOL

Thanks guys for your comments about my Mr Fish I'm really enjoying seeing all your interpretations. I know biro is a bit of a no-no on here so sorry in advance for this one, and I doubt it will even be the last time this month I was going for wisp of a girl:

Suzy, we know that you can draw a Mona Lisa using a random fallen-from-the-tree-stick with a pot of tar.

But you didn't have to jab it to us like that

I like that you're interpreting the prompts creatively. And that's an excellent picture.

Biros/ballpoints may not be of much interest in the fountain pen discussions here, but if the drawing is that good, I doubt that anyone cares how the ink got on the paper.

No jab intended, I'm a sucker for all pens but not everyone feels that way. Funny you should mention the Mona Lisa though lol

Noodler's Lexington Gray sketch (am definitely finding it a handy pencil-replacement). Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Brown and Diamine Alexandrite. A teensy bit of bleach for re-lightening.

Which reminds me of a painting on our wall by a seafarer who used what he had available; a board from a packing crate from the whaling station on South Georgia and ship's paint.

Very likely egg sucking tuition, but fwiw a bit of judicious dilution and you can have different grades of pencil.

Enjoying all your efforts, folks. Wish I had the time and talent, but will make my contribution as appreciative audience instead.

Aha, I have it in a PenBBS medium where it isn't the wettest, so I can get quite a few different grades by pressure/speed. Default stroke is quite light.

Hey Christof, welcome to the party

    Both inputs are great

I already missed you and your fish, still remember him from last year, there your funny entries were always a highlight.

    Prompt: Bulky

This prompt was not as easy as the previous ones for me, I did not really knew what to draw.
But I think this is an important part of the challenge, that you can deliver also something for prompts you donīt like so much.
