Ok, time to choose a new primary ink color.
I´ve decided to change the primary ink color used after 4 prompts.

I´ve started with Diamine Sargasso sea the first 4 prompts, then used P.W. Akkerman Voorhout Violet for the next 4 and inked my fountain pen up now with Diamine Sherwood green.
I plan to keep this ink change rhythm the whole challenge.

Day 9. Throw

Ok today I had a drawing accident.
My normal drawing setup is usually like this:
I have my monitor in front of me, on the monitor foot my keyboard stacked, and on top of the keyboard my iPad (used for reference photos) leaning against the monitor.

I drew and thought nothing bad, just wanted to grab something from the front under the keyboard as my iPad fell from the keyboard towards me.
Of course there were 2 open ink bottles, the Silbergrau and the Heliantus, and of course the iPad fell on them knocked them over and spilled the ink on my desk and my sketchbook.

Great....... my biggest ink accident in the last years so far..... but some time is always the first time.

Almost a full bottle Silbergrau and a half bottle Helianthus made some nice ink seas on my desk and the sketchbook......

Shit happens.......

Luckily I had a kitchen roll right next to me and I managed to stop the ink before reaching the edge of the desk decorating the carpet.

Ok finally I think the spilled Helianthus, Silbergrau on my today´s drawing does not look bad at all.
Think positive, it gave the drawing a different look than before, not necessarily a bad thing.

Luckily the damage on the sketchbook is not that bad, only a few pages are decorated with grey and yellow.

Let´s see how I can integrate the next page (almost full of ink) in tomorrows drawing.

Noodler's Lexington Gray for sketch, Diamine Winter Miracle and bleach for background. I'd intended it to just be ink and water, but also had an accident and knocked my sketchbook over when it still had lots of wet ink on it so it ran in lines... Hence the bleach! Bonus: Lexington Gray is not affected by it. The gold is sheen.

So this is the reuse of the the page spilled with ink during yesterdays ink accident.
I did not liked the prompt at all so kept it simple and reused what was already on the page

I didn't like this prompt very much and wasn't particularly comfortable with painting a whole scene like this. However, I played with several different ink samples and a bit of bleach to get this result.
