Beautiful shaped pen made by Lotus pen, inspired by Nakaya Dorsal Fin. This pen is beautifully made, made from black ebonite and then had red and black lacquer (not Urushi) to it. The laqcuer is nice and shiny. The pen lines up every time when capping and uncapping. The lacquer job could have been a little better in my humblue opinion but overall its very good. Pen has some lights scratches/signs of use but overall in great condition. Comes with a broad Jowo #6 nib, writes well. Comes with ink converter. It took a lot of time and effort to shape the pen in this design so that is reason for higher price. The shape is pretty cool and prevents it from rolling of the desk. The pen is oversized (but not overly heavy) so if you like smaller pens this is not for you.
