I thikn before yous ell you first need to decide what is most important to you.
Do you want to maximize the money you get from selling them or are you more intersted in just getting them out of your possession. The former will likley entail consdierabel effort in researching going prices, taking multiple photos of each pen and posting individually on mutlpe board and fb groups to make sure you hit he broadest swath of potential cusotmer. If, howeverm you lean toward the latter, and just wan tthem to move quickly and hoopefully find good homes, you can post a group shot and do a "$50 each, firs pm gets it" type sale (obviously setting the price approriately for what you have). It is also possible to go a hybrid route and take the effort for a few particulalry valuable piece and then try to unload the rest.
    Hope that helps.

Put your cheapies in a mug by the cash register at the coffee shop, with a sticker on each printed with the URL for this website. Maybe they'll come back for your more expensive pens.

It all depends: do you want them sold fast or do you want to get as much as you can in return?

The sub on Reddit is usually pretty active and you can generally flip pens pretty fast if priced well. Depending on the tier of pens you have, you can always do starter pack lots that might grab a few newbies. I spend more time on Pen_swap looking at pens than the actual /r/fountainpens subreddit because you see vastly more interesting pens pass through for sale.

Honestly, limited edition and expensive pens actually sell fairly fast on reddit. There are serious collectors that browse that sub and often have the money to spend. Certainly more active than your sellers board here on FPGeeks.

If you want them sold fast, price them low and list them. You can contact Terri at Peyton Street Pens, but expect to get around 25% of your pen's resale value if you go that avenue.

Well, how about this? I've been a professional touring and recording musician most of my life. Now, I'm mostly retired from that, and enjoying sitting at home and writing. PM if you'd like to discuss a music gear for pens trade!

I almost hate to get back on topic, but assuming for a moment that this is a legitimate thread with a legitimate subject, and that I've properly understood the OP's intent, I will now hold forth with my own terribly fascinating account of how I intend to deal with my own pen collection, errr, accumulation.
Now then, I have about two dozen fountain pens, but I use fewer than half of them regularly. My most valuable pens are a couple of modern Watermans, a Pelikan M205, and a Sailor 1911 with a Masuyama nib. I'm keeping all of those except for a Waterman Carčne, which I plan to sell on eBay, or maybe here. I also have a Ranga eyedropper and maybe another one or two pens in the over $50 range that Im considering selling. I'll probably bundle a few of the remaining pens and sell them as a single lot, and if there are a few odds and sods left over, I may do a PIF with them.

I think I'm just going to move most of the stuff out of the house and into my warehouse and try to forget it's there. I'll be surprised layer when I trip over it.

I should add that I have some vintage pens that usually sell for less than, say, the Carčne, but that I value more, and use more, than the more expensive modern ones. I know that vintage pens can go for way more than any pen I own, but the ones I have are all excellent writers that I got great deals on, or were given to me.

    Brother Rydr,
You may have saved me from making a terrible faux pas.
    Thanks for the hint.

Interesting thread. My extra pens are worth very little in money, I just give them away. Or I give them to students upon graduation (we cannot give students gifts, even of no real monetary value, prior to this). But I have made no such transactions since COVID. Kinda spooked.

@Fred, you put pens in a "warehouse"? I love that visual.
