Default Posting close ups of each pen- Pineider Trilogy

I have decided to take some pictures of each of the pens individually just for the fun of it. I hope that all of you like them.

Since Penwash asked me to do this, I am going to write a short review with a picture of how the pen writes (I have added that below).

Construction / Fit and Finish: This is my first Pineider and I was not sure what to expect in terms of craftsmanship. I am happy to say however that the build and fit and finish of the pen is excellent. It is a weighty pen, but well balanced in hand and easy to write with. The cap is magnetic, both when using as a cap as well as when you post the pen. The very small gripe that I have is that the clip of the pen is slightly off center, but that is me being picky.

Look: The pen is unique and distinctive to look at. The brass cut outs and the internal mechanism make the pen look futuristic and antique at the same time. The aged brass look along with the black internals make for a wonderful / beautiful combo. The black nib looks beautiful and works very well with the rest of the look of the pen.

Writing: This is the first time I have used a soft EF nib (the nibs has cuts as you can see). I was surprised to see how much ink this nib puts out. It is just thick enough with the right amount of feedback. It allows for line variation especially, if you apply pressure while writing. I tend to write with a very light hand and it writes wonderfully this way.

Overall: I love the pen. It is beautifully made and works beautifully too.

If you write a few paragraphs of thoughts on the pen,
add some writing sample from the pen,
it would make a nice mini-review

This is just a passing comment, nothing more.

That is a very well done review.
It's sufficiently descriptive, with personal impressions, without being long-winded.

The pen looks very unique and I agree with you that it looks both old and futuristic at the same time.

    Good job again!
