I don't know what to make of this but this 3-ring binder is patented from the 1920s. I guess I didn't know that this style of notebook existed back then. Anybody know more?
According to Wikipedia the ring binder was invented in 1886 in Bonn, Germany. "Another design for ring binders was invented in 1889 by Andreas Tengwall in Helsingborg, Sweden".
From the tabs, the notebook may have been used a telephone directory. I have a small one and that is what it is used for.
