This is an old and neglected thread but, I just finished a restoration on a very pretty vintage Tissot today, I want to show it off. It has a very large dial, unusual for its time period.

    Very nice!
Are you able to do your own restorations?

Yes … sometimes. It is getting harder as time passes since these old timers (pun intended) were made and replacements parts were available. In this case (pun not intended), I had found 3 of the right movements some years ago, and salvaged enough bits to assemble one fully functional movement. Judging cost as time, the resulting watch is not worth anything near what was spent, but IMHO it is so nice looking!
