    Default Pentuner Taking Orders Again

I was never very active on FPGeeks, but some of you may recognize me from FPN or r/Pen_Swap. I'm trying to be better on the socials, but I'm only one hobbyist . Since FPN took a dive, FPGeeks is now my favorite fountain pen forum!

I am happy to announce the launch of a completely redesigned Pentuner.com.

    Pentuner

    Who am I?

I have been working on fountain pen nibs for more than ten years. Mostly on my own pens, but in the past few years I have been expanding and selling my services to the fountain pen community. I am known as jesse on FPN and u/pentuner on Reddit, and I recently launched a redesign of my website.

A few years ago I offered my services to the fountain pen community with great success. After taking a 2-year hiatus, I am very pleased to be back and again have the opportunity to assist others with their pens.

    What do I offer?

    • Nib grinds start at $30 for stub and italic, extra for oblique and architect. Width reduction starts at $60.
    • Tune and smooth is only $15!
    • Tine straightening available starting at $20. PM me to discuss your needs.
    • Restoration services available. I am equipped to service and restore button/lever fillers, Sheaffer PFM, Touchdowns, and Snorkel systems, Vacumatics (including 51 vac), Pelikan and Montblanc pistons, and others. Restoration starts at $30. PM me to discuss your needs.

    Turnaround time?

    • This depends on the level of work your pen requires. Pen tuning will be completed in a week, but usually less!
    • Grinds take 7-14 days.
    • Repairs take 10-20 days.
    • Restorations can take a week or several weeks, depending on the nature of the work and parts availability.

    Shipping

Prices do not include shipping, but I only charge actual shipping costs. I have worked with customers world wide. In general, shipping fees for USA start around $4, Canada starts around $11, and rest of the world around $14. Insurance and signature confirmation are available.

I have worked on hundreds of pens and have thoroughly enjoyed working with the community over the years. Please contact me via PM to discuss your needs and interests.

I stand behind my work and guarantee your satisfaction. If I totally botch your nib I'll replace it. It hasn't happened yet, but my guarantee stands to show my commitment.

I'll be dropping a package off at the post office today with 2 pens. Thank you for offering this service!

    Hey Pentuner,

I never sent my pens for "work" so I am a neophyte. Can you tell me what services you offer requires this my solution? I have a Kawkeco Nib with a BB nib that drys quite often. The nib writes and sometimes it doesn't. What service do I need from you? I also have myu (the one that everyone likes not the MYU 90 but the older version) it runs dry as well, it is a F nib.

I just got my Montegrappa Ducale and Conklin Endura back from Jesse! I have only tried the Ducale so far and it came back from Jesse a totally reformed writing instrument! The hard starting is gone and it writes consistently and smoothly. I think I will quickly love the way this pen writes now as much as I do how it looks and feels in my hand.

The entire process was fantastic. Jesse sent me an email letting me know he received my pens and gave me a timeframe, and I got a follow up with tracking number when they were finished and shipped back. He also included a note in the package that described what he found and what he did to correct the issues I was having.

For someone like me that doesn't have the skillset to diagnose and tune a nib, the service Jesse offers to turn a disappointing purchase into an enjoyable one is worth much more than he is asking!

Finally, one of the most important considerations when it comes to mattress health is the level of comfort that it provides. A mattress that is too hard or too soft can lead to discomfort and poor sleep quality, so it is important to find the right balance for your body. You can also look for mattresses that have adjustable support, as this can help you to find the perfect level of comfort for your body. https://mattresscampus.com/best-toddler-mattress/

Herry, you really seem to like this time of day. Most helpful.

I wonder if you're enjoying a cup of coffee or tea at 9:22 AM-ish in Oceania.

Not confirmed yet, but each post gets us closer.

Didn’t realize how helpful the time stamps are, but it greatly narrows the focus.

When I go to the website all I see is a note posted on February 2022 and nothing else.
Not sure why this post is up.
Also, the original post here is dated 2020!

This post is only up because a spammer called Herry (among other names) resurrected it.
