Default Help Confirming MB Shakespeare is Real?

Hi Everyone, I've been trying to get a MB Shakespeare for some time but had a lot of trouble. Finally got one, but just want to make sure it's real because I've barely seen any in person! Here are some pictures:

Let me know what you think!

I don’t see any obvious signs but I’ve also never seen one in person so my thoughts aren’t worth much.

Not many people have seen one. I haven't seen one either.
I see what looks like the end of a Montblanc Shakespeare pen in what looks like it's special Shakespeare box.
If authentic there must be references on the box including at least one serial number that will match the serial number on the pen.
You should also know what the pen originally costs, how close to that price you had to spend to get it and where you purchased it from.
Matching all of those details as well as all of the detailed images of the pen that you can find on Google should be enough to convince you one way or the other.
That's often all that it's possible to do for your own judgement.

OK, thanks so much! I'll continue to do some Google research. I got it on eBay for a little over $1k, which I think is approximately the going price.

BTW, you may only see the end of a MB Shakespeare in its special Shakespeare box. I had accidentally attached just one picture, but I meant to show a series of pictures. All the pictures are available here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...eZ?usp=sharing

I saw and handled the pen, when it was their current release model. Since then, I have not seen one.
From that limited experience, I'd still feel confident saying that your pictures show the real thing - and in superb condition. Congratulations.
    Is it unused?

One of my main recollections of handling it was that ferocious step from barrel to section.
How does that feel, when writing?
I did like the weight and size of the pen, though.

Please remember, this is merely my opinion. If you want true authentication, you will need to take, or send it to a Montblanc shop, or headquarters.

Hope you enjoy it in good health.

I have an MB William Shakespeare, and the pen in the pictures looks real enough.

It's a screw cap, the details on the nib and the gold on the back look like mine.

I have one, and judging by your pictures its an original, Just a warning tho, I’ve notice that the screw cap would over time loose the gold colour, due to the screwing motion of taking the cap off or putting it on.
