    Default Sailor nib swap

Anyone know of a cheap pen (maybe a jinhao model) that has a section which can accept the nib and feed (or just the nib) from a sailor promenade. Just got the pen and didn’t realize how tiny it was. Love the nib, but need something larger.

For $12 Joey at Flexible Nib Factory will sell you a housing that will mount on any Jowo or Bock #6 unit: https://flexiblenib.com/store/product-category/housing/

These look like units that allow you to use a jowo or bock NIB in a particular pen. I’m trying to do the opposite. Or am I mistaken?

You have it backwards. All of those housings are to transplant Japanese nibs into Jowo/Bock threaded pens.

So, you could put, for example, your nib into an FC pen.

Taccia pens use sailor made nibs. Some models are less than $100.

So the flex nib unit thing won’t work? The promenade is certainly sailors small size.

Yea obviously I could have one made, but in lieu of time, trial, and error I thought I’d ask if anyone else has done anything similar before. The pen I have is what sailor calls a “medium”. Not medium as in the grind, but as in the actual nibs size. The feed diameter is 5.8mm. A standard Jowo #6 has a feed diameter of 6.0mm, as does a bock 225 & 250. Do you think then nib would be able to simply pop into one of these pens?
