    Well, to explain that number I mentioned above:

    Whenever I get new ink, I create an entry in my Excel sheet. I have three categories:

    1) Cartridges always get an amount of -1- ml (no matter if it is one cart or a whole 12-pack),
    2) samples are -5- ml, no matter the actual amount (it could be anything from 1,5 to 10 ml, I don't care for the sake of simplicity, because I get loads of samples from friends) and
    3) actual bottles enter the list with what the official amount of ink in that glass/bottle would (have) be(en).

    Whenever I finish an ink, the amount is changed to -0- ml and the name of the ink is precedes with X ..., so it gets sorted at the end of the list, still there for reference but not within the stuff others could chose as a sample. I refuse to measure inbetween or count cartridges. So, my list may not be 100% accurate, but detailed enough to always know what I should have in general.
