    Default Omas fountain pen repair

First, thanks to Radonactionservices for recommending Indy-Pen-Dance for repair work on my broken Omas. Does anyone else have a favorite repair person? I am in need specifically of someone who can replace the twist-fill mechanism of an Omas from about 20 years ago.

    Thanks very much.

The "Repair" thread seemed like the right place to post a request for help about getting a repair. The advice quoted in the post is only advice I've received so far.

It's really just a simple request for assistance. If it bothers you, please just ignore it.

I'm curious on this too as I have a Dama that the boss inside the barrel has sheared off. When you find someone who can help, please let us know.

It’s hard to recommend a specific person when we don’t know where you are? US? Canada? Australia? Somewhere else?

When OMAS was a going concern, Nibs.com used to handle their service in the US. I had them do a repair three years ago, after OMAS went belly up. I don’t know whether they still do, but it’s easy enough to call and ask. Parts availability may be a problem for them.

I think that will be Fountanbel and recommended by Hari ? :-). If so, an excellent recommendation.
