Default Montblanc for BMW Centennial fountain pen LE of 100

Hi everybody, I am offering the crown jewel of my collection, which was produced in a very limited number of 100 and was only to get when you bought the matching car. It is still sealed and comes with the original boxes. My asking price is 19000 euros or best offer. Shipping worldwide.

The sticker reads LE 2002 and then 1173/2002. Does this not indicate that this is pen no. 1173 of a series of 2002?

Yes you can but it depends how you added them. Go to the post where the pictures are and select Edit Post. If you added your pictures via the Manage Attachments box then click on Manage Attachments and when you get the box showing the images, drag whichever ones you want to delete down to the bottom of the box. Check each one and a small cross will appear in the top corner. Click on the cross to check the ones you don't want and they will go. Not instantly, but after an hour. Then in your post delete the now redundant links.

If you didn't use manage attachments, then delete the links directly.

    - An alternative if you used Manage Attachments - Go to Settings Top Right. The in the left hand side column go down to attachments right at the bottom. Select (right hand side) then Delete (bottom) each attachment that you don't want.

Out of curiosity, which model car was associated with this pen?
    OK nevermind.
Google says a special centennial edition of the 7 series. Looks like 2017, it seems.
    Cool.

Yes, that's right. The only way to get hold of one of those pens was to buy one of the 100 BMW 7 Individual The next century.

The price for the car was 300 000 euros plus. So if your main focus is on the pen, you'd better buy mine.

As you can see, the colour of the car matches the one of the pen.

Honestly I doubt that you will sell it at such a price.

Currently there is another one on ebay:
    https://www.ebay.de/itm/133654081213

Auction starts at 6000€ ... but still 0 bids (buy now option at 13000€).
I‘m keen to see if it will sell or not (as well as yours)

But at that price the in the meanwhile about 5 year old car should be included as well (and to be honest even then I think this is not a bargain) 😁

Well.. it's not simple to tell the "optimal price" of this kind of pens especially, as it's very limited edition and even has not been sold separately.

I'd say though, we can refer to the prices of similar 149 demonstrators such as UNICEF 149 and Blue Hour 149, which cost 7-10k. After adding some potential premium for this model as it's been sold only with the car, I think the price the seller is asking here is not too ridiculous. He's even open to offers.

I will definitely never buy this pen at this price, but as we all know, the price of this kind of pen strongly depends on the will of potential buyer and patience of the seller. GLWS.

As I understood the pen came bundled with the limited edition car, means it was included and had therefor never an individual price tag.
