Default Sheaffer Triumph Nib with one twisted tine, how to fix it

    Hi Guys

Just taken delivery of a Sheaffer Snorkel with Triumph Nib, and after getting over the shock the the snorkel and filling system worked fine, I found it had one twisted tine, which is making it a very wet broads writer, what's the best way of straightening the one twisted tine.

Drawing below to show what I am talking about.

Its an end on view by the way. Left is how it should be and right is how it looks

    Thanks

    Paul

If you take a look at the old service manuals, they have some good suggestions for nib adjustment, including this one. They can be had at the Pen Collectors of America web site reference library, along with a ton of other good reference material. Well worth the $40 dues.
