    Default Montblanc classique Chopin

What is the going rate for a Montblanc Classique 14k loose nib? I have an opportunity to buy one for about $50 including shipping. Think that’s a good idea? And does anyone know about what size that nib is? What pen I can put it in?

A 14k nib is worth $15 + or - for the gold, while an intact No. 4 Montblanc nib is perhaps two or three times that. If you want it specifically to complete your own pen or to swap in a specific nib type, it will be worth more to you.

Cool. Just wasn’t sure if anyone has bought that nib in particular for more/less

It will fit the 144/Classique, the 145/Chopin, the Boheme and the Mozart
