Smile Identifying age of Parker pen box

Does anyone have any idea of the date of manufacture for this pen box? It is about 5-1/2” long by 1/2” deep and wide.

    What an interesting box.

I have seen many of this size of Parker card boxes.

They were used to house Vacumatics, Duofold and both P51 Vac & Aeros
    From 1948 onwards

Have never seen one of this type before.

This type of stylised Parker variant font was printed hard cases from 1947/1948

Never seen a card case with a box number before, usually they were used on early Metal Clam case. ( always 2** , never 1** )

Of course, christof is correct, your box is post 1958

What pen was in it, I am guessing a P51 Mk 1a / Mk II Aero

I attach 3 images of the same Parker font used 1947/1948 ( Parker Box 253 )

Even though both parts of this box fit together, I suspect that the top is older than the bottom.
Looking at what limited images I can see of yours, the bottom section looks to be in vastly better condition than the top.
These types of card boxes are the same size.
