My favorite, classiest, villain ever. Never met the actor, but I did meet his replacement. I must be resembling him more as I age, because my students have asked if it's a photo of my father.
Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

I had the SR-91 Blackbird as it is truly a marvel but I have gone back to using by tried and true Avatar-- a picture of Sabicas from the Flamenco Puro album. I play flamenco and my "hero" is Sabicas. Flamenco Puro is considered the be a hallmark album in flamenco.

Mine is my 1958 Raleigh Sports roadster. I've been repairing and collecting old bicycles since I was a kid. What got me started was pulling my father's and my grandfather's old bikes out of the family barn and fixing them. I've fixed up dozens of old bikes. I've sold some, donated some to charity, given some to family members, and kept a handful for myself. I ride quite a lot still, especially between April and November. The winters here are too harsh to ride because of snow, ice, and corrosive road salts. But I still spend a fair amount of time fixing up old bikes as a hobby, even in the winter.

Thanks for that! I'm listening to the album now.

Ray-Vigo, man the Raleigh 3 speed brings back old memories. I worked as a bike mechanic in high school and college and have "fond" memories of taking about, cleaning, and re-building Sturmey Archer 3 speed hubs. The sign in picture #2--it that the White Memorial Park in Connecticut? I hear you about the winters as I live in MA--yelp, I am a Masshole. Ole Juul, if this was the first time you have listened to the album, what do you think of it?

Yes, I live in Litchfield County. White Memorial area is a good place to ride. I go from there over to Bantam Lake when we have good weather, but in the winter, I pretty much convert to other forms of exercise.

My Kona. Best bike I've ever owned. The house I bought was so that I could use it for the market trips.

@penwash, nice Ricoh! I am a Rollei and Leica guy myself. I’m so fond of TLRs that I have 4 Rolleiflexes (one I gave to my teenage son) and a Yashicamat 124G that’s dedicated to IR photography. TLRs are the antithesis of Leica M-series in terms of how natural they feel to shoot but there is true magic in those twin lens boxes.

I use this avatar everywhere because this drawing of Bodhidharma resembles me in form and character. Despite my fondness for photography, I think this sumi-e drawing captures me more thoroughly than any photograph could. Anyone close to me would certainly see the resemblance: balding, big eyes, big nose, fierce, intense, a benevolent ass.

Mine is simply a image reflecting my screen name. A clear sky doesn't have to be during the day, so I chose a nighttime version, after being advised by others to change my previous avatar.

Just like now in the fountain pen hobby, I was an explorer of all sorts of vintage cameras.

I tried a wide range of cameras from a B&J 8x10 red bellow monorail, to the cute Olympus XA4.

It is true as you said, the TLR has some magic in it that can only be appreciated when using them.

This photo is about 10 years old. Dad bought the car new, and I bought it from him in 1956, when a senior in high school. I don't drive it much but it has been updated to be safer on the highway.
