    Default Greg Hardy Penwrights

Greg Hardy is an artisan penmaker based in upstate New York who is one of the nicest guys around. I bought this pen directly from Greg at a pen show but I have hardly used it and it is much too nice a pen to sit in my desk, so I am making it available for someone else to enjoy.

The pen is a terrific looking Diamondcast in "Ink Stain" which features blue swirls in a translucent base material. It is a sizable pen measuring about 153 mm long capped and 139 mm long uncapped, with a barrel diameter of a comfortable 14mm. The pen is cartridge converter filled (converter included) and equipped with a SS Jowo #6 nib in Fine.

Greg fashions his clips from a nickel alloy. Most are fairly plain, but as I was speaking with Greg at his show table, my eyes were drawn to a lovely custom clip on one of his pens. Greg was nice enough to switch that clip onto this pen for me, and that sealed the deal.

The pen is accompanied by its original box.

$195 plus $8.50 shipping within US

No, what you are seeing is the black of the nib unit collar showing through the translucent material of the section. Here is a picture of the pieces disassembled.

So pretty. Reminds me of some of my older silver jewelry.
