The piston threads are black plastic
The pen is in excellent condition
Made from 1972-1985 as best as I can determine using
the dating charts

The nib was adjusted by Mike Masuyama in Feb of this year
The nib is very smooth
Comes with a smaller Montblanc box

It is a fabulous pen and I wish you well with selling it. But I have never seen MB BB nib look more like a medium! It is even less than my MB 146 broad, bought in the 1990,s.

I bought it as a BB. I don't know. It looked much broader than any M MB149 I've had
Just measured the nib with calipers, 0.05 inch, 1.29 mm
Is there a chart for MB nibs?
