We live in a mountain valley in Wyoming, 35 miles from the nearest town.

I've been writing with a fountain pen for about 40 years and restoring them for about thirty. My focus is iconic Pens made in the US and England, with some French Parkers. I used to search eBay and similar sites for pens in rough shape, estate and drawer lots, etc. But I've pretty much quit collecting. Friends send me their finds at Christmas and I fix them, and often send them back the next year.

Recently, I started getting more into pencils, restoring mechanical ones and making my own with twigs.
