Default Birmingham Pen Company Mulberry Silk

    Hi--Newbie here, first-time ink review--hope that it's helpful.

Birmingham Pen Company: Millionaire's Row Mulberry Silk

A dusky blue black ink, good flow/lubricity.

    Shading: no

    Sheen: no

    Drying: 10 seconds

    A little show through.

Very pleasant to write with. I thought that it might have more red in it--for mulberry--but not really.

I took a photo with my iPhone in natural light, but maybe it's too dark. I'll keep learning!

    Nice review - thank you

I covet Birmingham inks. Especially with the new releases today. I know it's only a matter of time before I cave in and buy a whole heap of them. I think this one will be on the list.

    Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm not sure that this ink is my cup of tea, either--just not warming to it. But it's wonderful to write with. I picked up Birmingham Twilight and Turquoise as well, will see how those are soon.
